# How can I become a Network Validator?

Everyone that is already running a Validator Node during the testnet will be allowed to continue running their node after the mainnet release.

Everyone is able to [create a new Validator node](https://docs.galactica.com/galactica-developer-documentation/validator-guide) without any requirements from now and until a few weeks after Mainnet. (Migration period)

A few weeks after mainnet, creating a new validator node will require holding a Galactica Citizen Node (Full Node).
