The Galactica Network Governance system relies on its Citizens to effectively  govern the ecosystem. Our unique system of governance combines characteristics of modern day democracies with meritocratic practices that were not tenable in an unconditionally fair and transparent way prior to the advent of distributed ledger technology and zero-knowledge proofs. Integrating merit into the governance framework addresses many of the common pitfalls that afflict democracies and enables all users to have an equal chance to apply themselves and be rewarded for their efforts.
