# ZK Trusted Setup Ceremony

## Overview: Securing Zero-Knowledge Circuits

At the heart of Galactica Network's privacy-preserving features, such as zkKYC, are zero-knowledge (ZK) circuits. The security of these circuits, and therefore the integrity of the entire system, relies on a critical cryptographic event known as a **Trusted Setup Ceremony**.

This documentation explains what the ceremony is and how we collectively ensure that no single entity can compromise the ZK proofs on Galactica Network.
